Back again

Hello all

hello all, 

its degree show time and im pleased to say that our one is going to be a corker. i will be showing the work that i did at the drakes exhibit so if you missed it you have another chance to have a go on those crazy musical pictures.

Its all coming to an end

well the show at drakes went down well, i think everyone enjoyed themselves and it was nice to see people enjoying my work. if you missed the show i will be putting some of the documentation on my website www.johnheams.co.uk soon. 

as uni is drawing to a close i am looking more towards doing some collaboration work, if you have any ideas or questions please drop me a line.

The Drakes Exhibit

its been a while and i have been working hard on my latest project called "The Drakes exhibit". this is a multi faceted installation using the taped conversations from within Drakes and turning pictures in to experimental instruments to be used by the public.

Train Tickets

I am currently working on a sound installation project using discarded train tickets. This piece uses the magnetic data from the back of the tickets to create an urban composition of journeys that have been made. I am currently in talks with Southeasten rail regarding displaying this work on board one there trains, so if you travel on the Maidstone to London line (and i get the go ahead) watch out for the installation.
